How menopause supportive is your workplace? 

Loretta established The Menopause Hub, a centre of excellence for menopause, borne out of her own experience of menopause. She is passionate about improving the lives of women through their menopause transition and beyond.  She has opened two evidenced-based clinics, is a menopause advocate and champion and runs The Menopause Hub Academy training organisations to become more menopause friendly.

Loretta is an award winning Marketer of the Year, with over 25 years corporate experinece working in major multinationals . She was a board member of the Abbey Theatre, She chaired their Gender Equality committee, driving change in the Abbey Theatre and across the wider theatre community . Loretta also lectured in the Michael Smurfit Business School on their MSc. and MBA programmes.

Loretta is 2023 Runner Up Entrepreneur of the Year in the Image Business Woman of the Year awards. 

Cathal is the CEO of the Great Place to Work® Institute and has been with the organisation since it first launched into the Irish market over twenty years ago. This year in Ireland, over 65,000 responses were received to the Great Place to Work® survey.  

Cathal has been fortunate enough to work with many different leaders from a multiplicity of industries in supporting them in building and sustaining a high-trust workplace. He spends a lot of his time out with leadership teams advising them on how to make improvements to their culture and attract the best talent. Part of his role is also building partnerships for his organisation along with growing a community of practice and developing a knowledge exchange between clients.  

Before joining the Institute, Cathal earned a degree in Marketing and went on to obtain a Masters in Strategic Management from DIT.

Broadcaster, entrepreneur and human rights campaigner Norah Casey was formerly a Dragon in the popular television series Dragons’ Den and is a well-known radio and television personality. The 2nd Edition of her book Spark! was recently published by Penguin and her TEDx talks include The Cure for Grief  and The Courage to leave (her own testimony of domestic violence).

Her digital learning platform Planet Woman seeks to empower women, and much of her pro-bono work is devoted to mentoring female founders globally. She serves on the European Board for Vital Voices, established in 1997 by Hillary Rodham Clinton and U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. She is a founder of the London-based Women's Irish Network and is a member of The International Women's Forum. Norah is currently serving on the Irish government Forum on a Family Friendly and Inclusive Parliament.

Dr Conor is a Consultant Gynaecologist in Beaumont and the Rotunda Hospitals. He is the Medical Director at the Menopause Hub and accredited BMS & NAMS Menopause Specialist. He is passionate about women’s health and has devoted his career to helping women.

​

He graduated in 2003 from Queen’s University Belfast with distinction in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He completed specialist training in the major Northern Ireland teaching hospitals and obtaining membership of the Royal College of Obstericians and Gynaecologists and the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland.

He has a special interest in education and research and has published and presented work internationally.

Denise is a senior Human Resources professional with 28 years’ experience in HR and senior leadership roles. She has recently taken up the position of Assistant Secretary General, Head of HR and Corporate Affairs with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. Since 2006 she has held senior roles in the public sector, in the National Library of Ireland, Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, Fáilte Ireland, An Garda Síochána and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

Before joining the public sector she held roles with Aer Lingus for 16 years and with Northside Partnership, in the community and voluntary sector for 4 years. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD). She holds an MSc in Executive Leadership from University of Ulster and Boston College and she is a qualified mediator.
